Tech is being being used as a weapon against the world’s poor . . . an advantage the world’s rich uses to leverage influence and maintain dominance . . . and that’s why we cling so desperately to it . . . because we’ve grown so physically and mentally weak . . . and if it wasn’t for helicopters and computers and all the other powers of tech, we would not (could not!) be so bold and brave in our global adventures . . . we wrap ourselves in armor – military, domestic and legal – but if we had to compete head to head and toe to toe against the robust and mentally agile third world, we would lose.
