Imagine a World

I now imagine a world where Ceos and Wall Street voluntarily cut their millions in bonuses and donate it to Public Health Departments and Hospitals.  I now imagine a world where Bezos, Zuckerberg, Google, Boeing, Comcast, et.al, and yes, even the Koch brothers, literally throw money into funds for medical research, think tanks and tech tanks to provide a living wage for all while increasing productivity of the things we all really need to live a life of dignity, respect for equality, and peace of mind, body, and spirit.

I now imagine a world where  there will be meaningful music, art, literature, jazz, and sanitizer for all.  I  imagine a world where the  wealthy now begin to understand their greed and like Biblical Abdicators, give all their money to the poor, the sick, and towards developing systems and institutions that create economic justice for all.

It’s 2:30 in the morning.   I can’t sleep thinking about the global pandemic.  So I dream wide awake of all the possibilities.  I wash my hands again.  I keep my distance. I may be alone, but I know I am not.
