Beast ft. Tobacco
Odonis Odonis
Our Jam of the Week is Beast ft. Tobacco by industrial-strength duo Odonis Odonis.
Featuring buzz saw synths and warped, distorted vocals, this song sounds straight out of an alternative 80s hellscape that somehow led to the same reality we live in today – totalitarian technocratic media barons telling us the world is fine ("quit shaking snowflake!") while we watch the ashes of our burning world fall right before our eyes.
Beast is one of the blistering singles slithering in from the ICON EP featuring 6 collaborations from artists across the dark music spectrum. When the world is covered in ash, we need music fit for a funeral — perhaps an ode to a dying world, unless we can gather the courage to give it new life.
