Alright all you rebels, redeemers and radicals out there,
15 years ago we were huddling up in Zuccotti Park, at the speartip of a global reckoning. We had the bastards on the run.
Since then the world has changed. Now the theft is total: not just our money, but our meaning. Not just our labor, but our future. An entire generation harvested for parts. Sacrificed for profit.
Resistance, back then, felt like a choice. Now it feels like an imperative. So we do this thing now.
We’re launching a new political party.
We do it because there is no other road out of this shitshow. The Dems and the GOP and Left/Right parties around the world have all run out of road. They have neither the appetite nor aptitude for the kind of change we need, which is a systemic overhaul. The soulless, extractive surveillance-driven capitalism we’ve landed on will not reform itself. It must be rewritten. By us. Starting now.
It’s easier than you think to start a new political party.
You choose a name, pick a leader and three officers, gather the required number of founding member signatures (250 here in Canada), and fill out a registration form. That’s it. You’re on your way.
But of course that’s just the beginning.
You then have to draft a platform. Get clear on your message. Sort out the admin stuff, name an accountant. And once you’re legit, you can raise funds. (You’ll be surprised how many donors want in on an agenda that jumps over the Left/Right divide and promises real change.)
History is with us on this.
The tremors of social unrest of the last half-century didn’t come out of nowhere: they were corrections. And they did move things forward.
The Sixties seeded social transformation that still evolves and unfolds today. Occupy sowed a permanent distrust of unfettered financial power, of markets allowed to metastasize. Now the ground is ready for this next thing.
And the swarm is forming again.
From Nepal to Sri Lanka, from Peru to Serbia, from Indonesia to Bangladesh, and now the cockroaches of India, leaderless youth movements have shown what’s possible when people scream “enough!” and start to move as one.
So here’s the next step:
We stop waiting.
We stop asking.
We start building.
Not just movements, but systems.
Not just outrage, but vision.
Not just moments, but momentum.
Gather up, online or in real life. Name what matters most. Forge a platform that cuts through the noise.
Choose leaders — or refuse them — but decide how we will act together.
And then we move.
Into the streets.
Into institutions.
Into power.
This is not a protest.
It’s a call to create something that does not yet exist — a political force equal to the urgency of the moment. It’s where all the seeds sown by earlier generations finally bloom. The planetary endgame.
So find each other.
Sharpen the demand.
Put your ass on the line and make it happen.
After thousands of years of top-down rule, all of a sudden, we go bottom-up.
In it with you,
The One World Collective.
